Mr. Thuan said that in response to the above challenges, the Ministry of Health has built and is implementing strategies and plans, towards the goal of improving the health of the entire people.At the National Assembly Session, the Draft Law on Health Insurance amended, supplemented and the Pharmaceutical Law amended and supplemented is expected to be considered for approval.
The Ministry of Health will continue to improve the Law on Health Insurance in the direction of proposing the health insurance fund to pay for screening to detect some common diseases such as breast cancer, cervical cancer to reduce the death rate due to illnessinfection.
According to experts, in Vietnam, non -communicable disease is the highest incidence and death rate, every 10 deaths, more than 8 people with cardiovascular disease or diabetes, cancer, lung diseaseChronic obstruction.
It is estimated that each year our country has about 17 million adults with hypertension;4.6 million people with diabetes;2-6 million people with heart disease, chronic lungs and more than 182,000 new cancer cases.
The reason is that people have not had a sense of disease prevention and have no periodic health examination.The percentage of people with hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular, cancer, mental risk is detected early and is low in treatment.
